This is such a nice sound, it reminds me of a small waterfall I heard near a creek. Sometimes I'll even mute the video games I play just to listen to this instead. The Falls has helped me overcome writer's block and find a place of relaxation in a stressful world. I love it and play it in the background while writing lyrics to my music. There's something sensual about this setting.
Even the fancy $100 machine at the gadget place in the mall that has all the relaxing sounds! So I'm grateful for this site and app. All other apps loop and I can hear when it does so, and that keeps me anxious and doesn't work for sleeping.

Since turning a normal sound into a calibrated sound requires heavy digital signal processing off-line, the sound can lose a little of its naturalness, though the loss will be inaudible for the majority of users. It can even compensate for your hearing loss. As a reminder, when a sound is calibrated on myNoise, it means that it can be precisely shaped to any sound color (brown, pink, white noises, and so on). MyNoise already offers a calibrated waterfall noise.
It offers the same characteristics as synthesized white noise, but its organic nature makes it easier for the mind to bear for long hours. The sound of a waterfall is ideal for masking distracting sounds around you.
